I was watching a lot of Steven Soderbergh and I wanted to try to emulate some of the characteristics of movies like Contagion, Ocean's Eleven, and Behind the Candelabra. Particularly, though, Side Effects. I think that all of these movies are very much Soderbergh-ian, but I think that Side Effects is much more subtle with the stylistic approach to it's production, and thus, more difficult to notice and blends much better as a tactic for storytelling. In Side Effects, I think that the subtlety of style lets an audience appreciate the story much more. I hope you enjoy. Constructive Feedback is always welcome.
